Ootsa Lake Ranch
The situation An old "homestead" in a unique location. Homesteads can no longer be bought from the government! 486,28 hectares (1.201,6 acres) of land with virtually all kinds of ground like dark soil, peat, sand, clay and gravel, mostly pastures, with alfalfa grown on some. Several kinds of trees - fir, pine, aspen, poplar and willows. The land's rolling hills descend towards the lake in the southwest. The shoreline with stones, rock and sand has beautiful bays. Most of the ranch borders on unpopulated government-owned terrain (Crown Land) - almost endless mountains, forests, rivers and lakes. |
